„Like every parent with a disabled child, I was looking for a therapy that could help, one that would work, improve something – that’s how we met Pawel. But let`s start from the beginning. More than a year and a half ago, Marysia appeared in our lives. Expected, loved from the beginning, unfortunately disabled due to an unforeseen coincidence. From the very beginning we tried to make her life easier and more beautiful. Marysia does not swallow, has lowered tension, does not keep her head up, she has squint, nystagmus, epilepsy and reflux. We had a lot to do. The first half of her life we spent in hospital. From the very beginning she was rehabilitated, but we did not see any effects. After browsing the Internet and entering the world of parents of disabled children, I learned about MEDEK. However, any foreign tours were no option for us because after 5 minutes in the car Marysia becomes unbearable, so a travel by plane was out of question, such a trip is a dream for now. Searching further we found Paul. And so we have been training at MEDEK for half a year now, that is dad is training with Marysia every day;) and the whole family have already attended an organized holiday with Paul twice. During these six months we have noticed big changes. The asymmetry is certainly broken, Marysia is “built” – that is she is no longer as limp as before, and there have been quite successful attempts to control the head. Not only we have we noticed progress, but also other therapists who know her from the beginning. Apart from such physical effects there is something else that we are very happy about. After the first course of treatment, Marysia finally began to sleep throughout the entire nights, and after the second course of treatment, she started to ride in a wheelchair!!! And she enjoys it – we have waited for a year and a half for that. We are delighted with the effects of the therapy we see all the time. But therapy is not everything, the therapist is important too, and here I would like to thank “uncle” Pawel, who told us a lot of things. The most important thing for him is children and finding a way to move and encourage them to act. In the course of therapy with children, he says wise things to their parents, which are really helpful, as I found out with my husband. Already after the first meeting we knew we were in good hands and could not wait for the next courses of treatment and above all for their results!”
